Meet Sharon

The Hot Process Queen

Sharon Johnson is the founder, formulator, and teacher behind Rose of Sharon Soapery. She developed the SJHP / SBHP method — Sharon Johnson Hot Process and Stick Blend Hot Process — and has been making and teaching soap for years.

She develops her own formulas, sources her raw materials, and makes every product by hand in small batches. In class, she's known for being approachable and generous with what she's learned.
